Claves - Hardwood - African

These claves are crafted of kiln dried exotic hardwood. The 44916 (standard clave) measures 10" long x 1-7/8" wide and the striker measures 10" long x 3/4" wide and features a cut-away sound chamber for volume and to vary the sound quality. The 44915 (African clave) measures 12" long x 1-3/4 wide and the striker measures 10" long x 1" wide and features the same cut-away chamber, but also has a hollowed center for broader, more open tones.
