Why Become a Member of KCDA?
State law encourages participation in cooperatives to eliminate duplication of efforts, thereby saving taxpayers' dollars. KCDA is available for use by any public school district, state, local or federal government agency and state K-12 accredited private schools.
 
Who can become a member?
  • Public School Districts.
  • Counties.
  • Municipalities.
  • State and Federal Agencies.
  • Public Colleges, Universities.
  • Political subdivisions within the state or in other states.
  • State accredited K-12 private schools in the State of Washington.
How can I become a member?
The governing body of the agency, subdivision, or taxing entity signs a Membership Agreement and Profile with KCDA. The Agreement and Profile are then mailed to KCDA for approval by the Board of Directors and the signature of the Executive Director. Once approved, a copy will be returned to you for your records. Interim membership is available with a faxed copy, with confirmed membership beginning with the receipt of the original Agreement. What is the cost to become a member?
There are no fees to join; KCDA is funded by a service fee included in the price of each item.
